Cammell Laird came from 2-1 down to win 3-2, away at Burscough, thanks to an 87th minute winner from Craig Cairns. Ramsbottom ran out comfortable 3-1 winners away to Lancaster, thanks to a Philip Dean brace, Mossley came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at home to Ossett Albion, thanks to a couple from Brian Matthews, Radcliffe thrashed New Mills 4-0 and Warrington Town won 2-1 at home to Kendal, extending their lead at the top to three points.
