Farsley Celtic head into their first game of the season on the back of a quiet off-season, with only the additions of Neil Stevens and Nick Guest, who scored 38 goals last season for Hemsworth. Kyle Harrison also returns to the club, while Aaron Hardy returns from a long-term injury. However there have been some notable departures as Gibraltan international Adam Priestkey, Spencer Harris, Matt Dempsey and Mikey Aspin have all left the club. Farsley had a tricky pre-season highlighted by a defeat at Thackley, however they earned a morale-boosting victory away to Blyth Spartans last weekend.

Kendal Town have acquired the services of the versatile defender Sam Bailey, and the aforementioned Mikey Aspin, along with striker Tom Kilifin from Lancaster City. Kendal have, like Farsley, had a difficult pre-season with just a solitary win over Gretna, albeit winning comfortably 5-1.

Both sides will be desperate to get off to a great start, and remember entry is free to all!
