This left Pronce to be the first managerial casualty of the season. Droylsden defeated New Mills 4-1, thanks to goals from Michael Koral, Michael Pino, Joe Cooper and Stephen Hall. Ryan Hopper gave brief hope to the visitors when he equalised shortly after the opener. Kendal Town continued their 100% start against Ossett Town thanks to goals from Tom Kilifin and Samuel Baily, as did Scarborough thanks to a Nathan Peat penalty against Trafford.
