It’s first vs fifth on Monday in the Evo-Stik Division 1 North as league leaders Brighouse Town host Farsley Celtic in a massive local derby. Brighouse are two points clear at the top of the table and four ahead of The Celts ahead of the matchup at the Dual Seal Stadium.

Brighouse drew 0-0 as they travelled to Prescot Cables on Saturday and are 8 games unbeaten in the league, however they won just one of their last four in all competitions. Brighouse have no apparent injury concerns.

Farsley come into this game off the back of a 4-2 defeat at home to Lancaster City, which ended their 100% record at home. Farsley captain Paddy Miller is 50/50 for Monday’s clash however Adam Clayton is fit to replace him if necessary. Ryan Serrant, who left Throstle Nest on crutches on Saturday is unavailable with a bad ankle sprain, not broken as first feared, with Aaron Hardy set to take his place. James Knowles has left the club signing for Bradford Park Avenue.

Why not head down to the Dual Seal Stadium (KO 7.45pm) to support The Celts, admission prices are £7 adults, £4 concessions and free for U12s. Postcode of the ground is HD6 2PN.
