Following their recent cup exploits, Farsley Celtic travel to The Butchers Arms Ground to face Droylsden FC in Evo-Stik Division 1 North action. Third placed Farsley are just two points off pace setters Glossop North End with two games in hand, and have four in hand on Scarborough Athletic who lie in second. The Celts are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions, their most recent victory coming over Ossett Albion (4-2) in the Integro League Cup. In the last league game Farsley were held to a 0-0 draw by Ramsbottom Town at Throstle Nest but will look to get back to winning ways tomorrow. Farsley have positive news on the injury front with Nathan Turner returning from an ankle problem and Aaron Hardy recovering from a dead leg, meanwhile Ryan Serrant is back in training but tomorrow’s game comes too soon for him.
Droylsden have experienced a tricky start to the season winning just four games so far and sit 17th in the league. Two of those wins came in their last four matches, however their most recent outings were defeats to Scarborough (3-1) and Trafford (5-3). Droylsden will have new signing Glyn Cotton available for tomorrow, and the attacking midfielder is in contention to make his debut. They have no apparent injury concerns.
The game will take place at the Butchers Arms ground KO: 3pm, and the postcode is M43 7AY. Admission prices are £8 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. If you can’t make the game there will be full updates on @FarsleyCelticFC on twitter.
