After a thrilling 2-2 draw at Throstle Nest on Saturday, Evo-Stik Division 1 North side Farsley Celtic and National League North side Tamworth will once again do battle for a place in the first round of the FA Trophy and a home tie with National League side Southport at The Lamb Ground.
In Saturday’s 2-2 draw Farsley twice took the lead through James Walshaw and a sublime effort from Jacob Hazel, however goals from Steve Tomassen and V9 Academy’s Danny Newton secured a replay for Tamworth.
Saturday’s draw extended Farsley’s unbeaten run in all competitions to nine games however this will be severely put to the test tomorrow night. Farsley will have the same squad available as they did on Saturday which will be welcome news ahead of a flurry of fixtures on the run into Christmas. Likewise Saturday’s draw extended Tamworth’s unbeaten run to six games and they have no fresh injury news heading into the game.
