In our feature game this week, Kendal Town comfortably defeated Farsley Celtic, who were in their first game back under their original guise, 3-0. Farsley debutant Harley Wigley’s back pass in the opening minute was intercepted by Jordan Connerton who had his effort saved, before Ben Thomas tucked away the rebound.

Early in the second period Kendal doubled their lead when Celts defender James Riley slipped over in the box allowing Tom Kilifin to slot home just a day after joining the club. Immediately after Sam Baily’s free-kick from more than 40 yards caught Farsley ‘keeper Tom Taylor unaware as the ball looped into the net to confine Farsley to more misery.
